This week KNRTU held trainings on “Effective development of subordinates” and “Cross-functional interaction” for the administration and heads of the departments as a part of human capital management policy implementation.
The event was conducted by trainers of the consulting company “GMC Consulting” Galina Mashtakova, Head of the Company, and Tatyana Pavlova, Business Coach. The participants of the trainings were Vice Rectors, Directors of Institutes, Chairs of the key departments of the university.
How has today's environment changed in the organization, how to develop professional and personal potential of employees and why is it important to raise successors? How and with the help of what tools it can be done, how to build relationships in the team - all these important issues for a modern leader were discussed in a modern interactive form.
The issues of productive cooperation and horizontal cross-functional interaction between representatives of different structures and departments, as well as teamwork to achieve common goals were discussed during the training.
“The training was very useful. I learned a lot of new things about process management and tools for working with colleagues. I already knew some of this when I worked at SIBUR, but the science of communication does not stand still, and we had an exciting experience.” - said Maksim Tyupich, Vice Rector for Administration and Maintenance.
Together with the participants of the event, the trainers analyzed in detail the basics of teamwork: how to understand the values and current situation in the team, how to distinguish your own and the team goal, to take responsibility, to distribute roles, to use emotions to motivate for effective work, especially in difficult situations, to engage innovative thinking and generate initiatives.
