KNRTU PROFESSOR TOOK PART IN “ENGINEERING TRACK” EDUCATIONAL PROJECT

Assistant Professor of Professional and Pedagogical Education Department Alexander Markelov was a participant of “Engineering Track of the Interuniversity Educational Cluster” project that is implemented by the “League of Higher School Teachers” Interregional Public Organization.

The main goal of the project is to spread innovative methods and approaches to the teaching of the students in the field of engineering education, and to create a unified platform to exchange experience between the higher schools’ professors.

The event included different educational activities: All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Innovation in Engineering Education”, Technopark (Moscow) excursions, Advanced Engineering School and Research Centre «Chembiotech” (Tula State University), Tula House of Science and Technology, Instrument Design Bureau named after academic Arkady G. Shipunov. There were also lectures, project sessions, and business games based on innovations in engineering education sphere.

The participants of the Engineering Track became co-authors of the Engineering Education Textbook.

The “Innovations in Engineering Education” Collection was released as a part of the conference. Alexander Markelov presented a report on the topic “Use of Time Management Technologies in the Engineering University Educational Process”.

The participants shared their experience in the development of engineering education in universities, established new contacts and outlined the prospects of collaboration. Educational elements were successfully complemented by a cultural aspect of two historical cities.
