The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a publicly-funded independent organization of higher education institutions in Germany. Each year DAAD, its Regional Branch Offices, its Information Centers, and DAAD Professors around the globe provide information and financial support to over 67,000 highly-qualified students and faculty for international research and study.

According to the agreement between DAAD and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, in the framework of granting program of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan – “Algarysh”, Thilo Zinecker presented two academic international exchange programs for Tatarstan students. “Evgeniy Zavoyskiy” program for 1-3 month training of post-graduate students in Germany and “Nikolay Lobachevskiy” program for two-year training of graduate students.

The details of participation in the programs were discussed with the students. Dr. Alexander Kochnev, Dr. Julia Ziyatdinova and Thilo Zinecker exchanged the ideas on intensification of student participation in these programs.
