The delegation was headed by the President of «Yokogawa Electric Corporation» - Takashi Nishijima. «Yokogawa Electric Corporation» is one of the key partners of KNRTU for more than 20 years. The representatives of «Yokogawa Electric Corporation» were welcomed by the Rector of KNRTU – Dr. German Dyakonov. The delegation took part in the meeting with KNRTU students and faculty and visited the Museum of history of Kazan State Technological University named after Academician A.E. Arbuzov. The President of «Yokogawa Electric Corporation» - Takashi Nishijima was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of KNRTU.
On the next day of the visit the delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the second laboratory “Yokogawa-KNRTU” in Nizhnekamsk branch of Kazan National Research Technological University.
