The day of the celebration had a reach program. It started at KNRTU with congratulatory speeches of administration, professors and guests from all over the world. Honored doctors of KNRTU and guests were invited to anniversary celebrations. Professor of the Oxford University – Dr. Peter Atkins; Director of Institut Kimia Malaysia and ex-president of FACS – Datuk Dr. Soon Ting-Kueh and delegation from Vietnam headed by the Rector of Viet Tri University of Industry – Dr. Quan Dinh Khoa were among them. The festivities continued at Tatar State Academic Theatre with the great concert program. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan – Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan – Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan – Engel Fattakhov and representatives of the leading Russian industrial companies emphasized that KNRTU is one of the top Russian universities and its graduates are high qualified engineers for chemical industry of Russia. They awarded honorary certificates and honorary titles to the faculty of KNRTU. Fantastic fireworks were the last chord of the magnificent celebrations of 125th anniversary of KNRTU.
